Tall Poppy Presents... Small Places Concert!

“Small Places” – a worldwide benefit for Amnesty International celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Tall Poppy Presents... will be hosting the FIRST of hundreds of concerts to be held around the world on August 27th, 2008 at Performance Works on Granville Island. This 4 hour concert will be a fun, vibrant and creative gathering honouring human rights and celebrating independent Canadian music and dance, with a special emphasis on Canada’s cultural diversity.
Tall Poppy presents signed and unsigned, acts from around the world in London, UK, Vancouver, and throughout British Columbia. Now we have joined forces with Amnesty to bring awareness to urgent human rights concerns and raise much needed funds for future Amnesty campaigns.
